  Interview

  1. Only top candidates will be called for the interview.
  2. The selection of the candidate depends on the decision of the selection committee, whose decision will be final. No correspondence will be entertained on rejection.
  3. The selected will be informed soon after the interview. The selected candidates must deposit the feed immediately after their selection, failing which admission can be cancelled and the next candidate in the waiting list will be called for admission.

Medical Examination
No student shall be allowed admission without submitting the medical examination report from the medical board of Kular Hospital. Cost of the medical examination has to be born by the student. 

Preliminary Training Period

After admission all the students shall undergo a preliminary training for 12 weeks. At the end of this each student has to undergo a hospital exam. Every student is required to obtain a minimum of 50% marks to pass this exam, failing which the training will be terminated.

Examination Schedule

  • Internal Examination
  1. It is compulsory for each student to sit in all the exams conducted by the school the internal assessment is based on these exams.
  2. A minimum of 50% marks is required to pass these exams.
  3. Students failing in internal assessment shall not be eligible for the final exam.
  • Punjab Nurses Council Examination
  1. PNC holds an examination at the end of every year in the month of September.
  2. Minimum of 50% marks is required to pass.
  3. Failing students are allowed three attempts in the PNC exam after that the student will have to discontinue the course.

Details of the examination subject wise are given below:
Five year final examination held in the following subjects:

  1. Fundamentals of Nursing      Theory
  2. Anatomy and Physiology      Theory
  3. Community health nursing     Theory
  4. Fundamentals of Nursing      Practical

 Examination Results

The following graduation is done on the aggregate marks obtained during the examination:

Distinction          80% and above
1st Division        70% - 79.5%
2nd Division       60% - 69.5%
Pass                   50% - 59.5%

Examination Fee

For final exams conducted by the PNC every year the students shall pay the required fees themselves along with the examination forms. (As per PNRC guidelines time to time)
